Hands of Time documents an installation of the same name at Le Petit Versailles, a Green Thumb garden in the East Village of NYC. Latex gloves filled with dirt gathered on site, a mix of seeds from my Rochester garden, plus a bonus plastic barnyard animal were discreetly placed throughout the garden in the spring. By fall, the latex had disintegrated leaving a part of my garden behind. This project was in remembrance of my father, an appreciative visitor to my home garden and consistent gift-giver of kid-skin gardening gloves.
